Kevin Skinner - Lead Pastor

You must go to everyone I send you to and speak whatever I tell you." -Jeremiah 1:7Kevin began his pastorate with First Baptist Church Stockdale in July 2021 after serving for nearly 11 years with First Baptist Watauga in Watauga, TX. Kevin has served as an associate pastor, children's pastor, youth pastor, and young adult pastor. He has a masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and a bachelors in practical ministry. He and Sarah have been married since 2004 and they have two children, Emilie and Ethan.
Becky McKinney - Worship Minister
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.” -Proverbs 3:5-6Becky began serving as the worship minister at First Baptist Church Stockdale in August 2007. Raised in the northwest as the daughter of a Baptist minister, she came to faith at age 8 during Vacation Bible School and has been actively serving since. After high school in Washington State, she moved to Texas for Howard Payne University, where she met her husband Joe. They felt called to South Texas, where Becky began leading worship at Vanderbilt Baptist Church. Though she initially didn’t recognize her calling, she later realized worship was her true vocation. The McKinney family moved to Poth in 1998, and Becky served as Worship Leader at Oak Hills Community Church from 1999 to 2007 before joining First Baptist Church Stockdale. Joe and Becky have four children—Josh, Keeley, Caleb, and Keira—and pray that each will follow God's calling on their lives.
Palmer Jones - Youth Pastor
"For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift--not from works, so that no one can boast." -Ephesians 2:8-9Palmer began serving as the youth pastor for First Baptist Church Stockdale in September of 2022. He surrendered to the call to ministry at the age of 13 and has served in previous churches in both worship and youth ministries. He has a masters degree from Western Theological Seminary and was licensed to ministry by First Baptist Church in Watauga, TX. Palmer loves leading in the youth ministry because he feels like this is where the gifts the Lord has given him, really shine. He is a people person in general, but his fun and goofy spirit really comes out with the youth. Palmer has been married to his wife Katy since 2018.
JoDea Lambeck - Ministry Assistant
"And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." - Colossians 3:17JoDea began serving at First Baptist Church Stockdale as the ministry assistant in 1995. Since that time she has faithfully served under 5 different pastors. JoDea loves Stockdale and the color purple. She has a passion for both her children and grandchildren. She is a true blessing to our church family.
